Alberto Contador, participant in the #ForumFood2022 organised by the ‘Think Tank’ The European House – Ambrosetti
Alberto Contador was one of the guests who took part in the sixth edition of #ForumFood2022, an initiative held in Bormio, in the heart of the Valtellina, promoted by The European House-Ambrosetti.
The Madrid cyclist and Ivan Basso, both former teammates during his professional career and current adventure partners both through the EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team and the bicycle company AURUM, took part this Saturday in a second day of ForumFood2022 in which nutrition in sport took centre stage.
The skiers Marta Bassino and Dominik Paris and the apnea world champion and dentist Mike Maric also took part in the talk.
For the second year, as part of #ForumFood2022, a non-competitive cycle ride took place on Sunday between Bormio and the Refugio Forni via Santa Caterina Valfurva. The ride, a little more than 17 km long with 960 metres of elevation gain, included Contador, Basso and Valerio de Molli, CEO of The European House-Ambrosetti, among others.
De Molli is a great fan of cycling, a sport of which he is an active participant. Contador took advantage of his stay, however, to return to one of his favourite mountain passes: the Stelvio.
