José Manuel Dosdad, back and forth from Granada to Paris in support of Ely Martos

Idemticos ambassador José Manuel Dosdad is finalising preparations for what will be his great challenge in 2023. If last summer he completed his particular Vuelta a España for a month using a gravel bike and without external assistance, for this coming June the Barcelona native, who lives in Granada, will travel from Vegas del Genil to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and will return to his destination point by bike.

On this occasion, Dosdad’s journey will have a motive behind it: to collaborate with the family of Ely Martos so that this young girl who suffers from cerebral palsy can undergo a cycle of therapy with Therasuit that will allow her to improve in her day-to-day life. This technique, whose treatment costs around 2,500 euros, is based on a system of elastic bands that allow the patient to improve her body alignment and movements.

Dosdad, who has baptised this experience as the Therasuit Ely Therapy Challenge, will start his journey on Thursday 15th June and will have 31 days ahead of him in which he will alternate his journey to the French capital and his return home with some rest days, essential for the maintenance of the prosthesis. Ahead of him, almost 3,700 kilometres with an accumulated difference in altitude of more than 28,000 metres and some stages that will be around 190 kilometres long.
