The ProTeam structure of the Contador Foundation, the EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team, confirmed on Monday the ‘eight’ with which it will compete in the Italian round, event for which it was one of the three teams honoured with a very coveted official invitation of the organization.

The race will start this Friday, May 6, from Budapest (Hungary) and will finish in Verona on the 29th. In between, 3,445.6 kilometres of very demanding route.

The Giro starts a day earlier than usual thanks to the dispensation granted by the International Cycling Union to include a third rest day which is used, after three days on Magyar soil, to return to Italian territory.

The blue team will be made up of the Hungarian Erik Fetter and the Italians Vincenzo Albanese, Davide Bais, Lorenzo Fortunato, Francesco Gavazzi, Mirco Maestri, Samuele Rivi and Diego Rosa.
