Álex Montero represents Idemticos in the final race of the Circuito 7 Estrellas, in Arroyomolinos

The Circuito del Pavo de Arroyomolinos closed the 2023 edition of the Circuito 7 Estrellas de la Comunidad de Madrid for mountain bikes and, from this year, also gravel bikes. Idemticos ambassador Alejandro Montero, who also closed his campaign in these parts of the Regional Park of the Middle Course of the Guadarrama River, took part in the race.

“It has not been the ideal end of the season, a cervical contracture shortly after the start left me very touched. I had to suffer a lot, especially in a technical area, with climbs and descents impossible for a cyclocross bike. I arrived at the finish line, very, very hurt, dizzy, with cramps and totally empty. But this is cycling and when the going gets tough you grit your teeth”, he explains. Montero finished twelfth at the finish line in his category, finishing second overall in the popular gravel category.
