Solidarity dinner and I Solidarity Awards Ceremony

On Friday 17 October from 8.30pm we will celebrate the Solidarity Dinner for the delivery of the I Solidarity Awards Ananta Foundation Alberto Contador Foundation.

The award winners are:

National category.

First prize (endowed with 9.000€): Asociación Darse (Valdemoro, Madrid): Proyecto Puerta a la Libertad, for the support, re-education and social reintegration of prisoners and ex-prisoners.

Second prize (€6,000): Asociación Primera Prevención (Madrid): Timón Project, supporting 25 families in especially difficult situations in the Puente de Vallecas district of Madrid.

Third prize (€3,000): Hogar Betania (La Línea de la Concepción, Cádiz): Support for social canteen for people at risk of exclusion and shelter for homeless people.

International category.

First prize (endowed with €9,000): Asociación Adentra (Aramendia, Navarra): Project for the creation of rural vegetable gardens to guarantee food autonomy and training in the use of sea water in these gardens in the community of Sandiara (Senegal).

Second prize (€6,000): Asociación Hogar de las Niñas (Barcelona): Project to extend the “Ma Sarada Shishu Tirtha” residential school in Harispur, Krishnagar, West Bengal (India).

Third prize (€3,000): Kelele Africa Association (Torrelodones, Madrid): Project for the construction of an eco-school in Kimya (Uganda).
