More than 300 participants in the first Bici para la Vida Ride at Pinto

The first ‘Bicis para la Vida’ Solidarity Ride was held today in Pinto, with more than 300 participants at the starting line, including children from the Plaza de Eboli Cycling Academy, most of whom managed to complete the 52-kilometre route, which was very hard due to the mud and water accumulated in recent days.

Sponsored by the City Council of Pinto and E-Leclerc Hypermarkets, the proceeds from the inscriptions have been entirely dedicated to the project ‘Bicis para la Vida’, in which collaborate the Alberto Contador, Ananta, Seur and the Association of Disabled of Pinto foundations.

In spite of the harsh weather, this first Solidarity Ride has been closed with a great participation, thanks also to being integrated in the 7 Stars Mountain Bike Circuit, within which it has been the fifth of the seven races planned. Thanks to this, we also had the generous collaboration of Forevent.es, which was in charge of everything related to timing and official classifications.

The organisation of the race, in charge of the Cadalsa Cycling Club, offered participants two refreshment stations along the route plus a final one after crossing the finish line, in addition to the delivery of a solidarity T-shirt to each participant and trophies for the first classified, along with the draw for a jersey of the Alberto Contador Foundation signed by the champion of Pinto.
