Winners of the 3rd Solidarity Awards announced

We inform you that last Saturday 17th September the Jury of the III Ananta Foundation Alberto Contador Foundation Solidarity Awards decided the following prizes:
National category:
First prize (9.000€): Desierto
Second prize (6.000€): Kyrios Tutelar Foundation (Madrid): Sociabilitas Project
Third prize (3.000€): Asociación Corea Hungtington (Madrid): Proyecto Atención Enfermos Hungtington.
International category:
First prize (€9,000): Asociación Cirugía Solidaria (Murcia): Surgical/medical intervention in the community of Kilome, Kenya.
Second prize (€6,000): Asociación Tushirikiane (Elche): Project to promote food diversification among poor families/scholarship programme in the region of Emuhaya, Kenya.
Third prize (€3,000): Asociación Amigos de Calcuta (Madrid): Comprehensive support project in the Kobardanga home-school, Calcutta, India.
The Jury was made up of the following 13 people: Adaya Aba, Begoña de Pablo, Berta Grasset, Sonia Pi Corrales, Cristina Raspeño, Francisco Romero, Francisco Salvatierra, Carlos Córdoba, Ignacio Pi Corrales, Jesús Duque, Gonzalo Maqueta, Pedro Matilla, José María Márquez-Gopala. We thank all the members of the Jury for their work and commitment.
The two foundations organising the awards and the Jury are grateful for all the nominations received and acknowledge in particular the important social work carried out by all the organisations presented in their various fields of action.
