Formidable Alejandro Montero, podium in the popular gravel race in the Rally de los Embalses

Sensational Alejandro Montero, third overall in the popular gravel race of the Rally de los Embalses, second event of the 7 Star Mountain Bike Circuit held in the Community of Madrid.

Montero, ambassador of the Idemticos project and competitor in adapted cycling in the MC3 category, took part with a gravel bike in the 57-kilometre course, a race he knew well, in which he took part for the first time twenty-one years ago and in which he took part for the last time four years ago.

“It was a very fast race, with some tricky downhills, several short and tricky climbs and a strong wind in the final part,” he explains. “I’m very happy for this my first podium in ‘non-adapted’ cycling, I think it’s very nice and it gives more visibility to the Idemticos project”.
