Álex Montero closes an intense campaign on home trails

The Ruta del Águila de Valdeolmos and Alalpardo hosted last Sunday the penultimate round of the 7 Estrellas de la Comunidad de Madrid mountain bike and gravel circuit and among the participants was Álex Montero from Madrid. The neighbour of Valdeolmos finished eighth in the gravel category, over a course of 64 km with about 1,100 metres of accumulated positive difference in altitude.

The Idemticos ambassador finished eighth in an event with a very familiar route: ‘It was my home race, practically; it runs along the roads where I usually go out both with the mountain bike and the gravel bike. A very familiar route that I know almost by heart. Personally, I felt very good, I did some very good sections and I ended up quite happy. But people have a high level, they ride a lot. In principle it will be the last bib of the year, although you can never be 100% sure, but now it’s time to stop, rest and think about the 2025 season’.
