Bicis para la Vida by Škoda trips to Logroño this September 6 to collect donations at the start of La Vuelta’s stage
The Vuelta a España faces its last and final week but before its conclusion, and for the second consecutive year, the Bicis para la Vida by Škoda project promoted by the Contador Foundation and the Czech automobile company with the support of institutions such as the Seur Foundation and the AMP Association of Pinto, among others, returns to the caravan of the Spanish race.
The event will take place this Friday, 6 September, at the start of the 19th stage of the race from Logroño. The Bikes for Life van will be parked in the ‘Fan Zone’ of the Vuelta, located in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, from first thing in the morning until shortly after the start of the stage, at around 13.00 hours (CET).
There, all the bikes that the public wants to donate will be collected, regardless of their size; all those bikes that are lying dormant in the storage room, in the garage or at home, unused and lifeless. All the donations will be checked and prepared to be distributed and delivered to groups at risk of social exclusion and associations that work with them, both in Spain and in locations in other countries.
