Bicis para la Vida by ŠKODA delivers thirteen bicycles to Loja
The Hogar San Ramón y San Fernando de Loja, in the province of Granada, was the destination this Friday of a new delivery of bicycles by the Bicis para la Vida by ŠKODA project. Ángel López, responsible for logistics, delivered thirteen bicycles, twelve mountain bikes and one specific road bike, to this Andalusian centre for the protection of minors. José Antonio Soto, director of the Patronato San Ramón y San Fernando, was in charge of leading the reception.
This home-home was managed for a century and a half by the Mercedarian Sisters of Charity, passing into the hands of the De La Salle Brothers in 2012. It currently houses more than twenty minors, aged between 1 and 17 years. Some of them, despite their tender age, have very difficult personal histories. With these bicycles, the centre will promote different projects linked to physical activity and leisure.
