Carlos Javier Mozos receives the Getafe Award for Sporting Merit

The adapted cyclist from Madrid, Carlos Javier Mozos, was recognised this Friday 24 March at the Getafe Sports Merit Awards in the category of Adapted Cycling for Men.

Mozos, who is one of the ambassadors of the Idemticos project of the Contador Foundation, is a unique case in the world of adapted cycling, as he competes with a conventional bicycle without any type of adjustment or adaptation.

It was an even more special edition because it was a compendium of merits from 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. After the break caused by the pandemic, Getafe City Council, through its Sports Delegation, resumed the activity.
