Fifteen bicycles for the BiciBús at the Virgen del Rosario School in Titulci

In an action that is framed within the proposals of the Contador Foundation projects with the European Mobility Week and the contribution of a prism focused on the bicycle, Bicis para la Vida by Škoda closed this last week of September 2024 specifying this Friday the delivery of fifteen bicycles in the School of Infant and Primary Education Virgen del Rosario of Titulcia.

This batch of private donations is destined for the implementation of the Bicibús programme in which the school is working with the aim of stimulating the use of bicycles for commuting, going one step beyond their role as a means of leisure, games and recreation. With this small fleet of fifteen bicycles, CEIP Virgen del Rosario will be able to cover all members of its school community with fewer resources.

The Contador Foundation, in close collaboration with the Movidep Foundation, has already had the opportunity to collaborate with this school this year during the CEIP Virgen del Rosario Cycling March held in April, an occasion in which it was possible to learn in detail about this sustainable mobility project on the ground and also to see first-hand what the needs could be for a future donation.
