Idemticos ambassador Alejandro Montero, winner of the Spanish Paralympic Cycling Cup MC3

The Gran Premio Adro de Vilaño in A Coruña closed this weekend the 2023 edition of the Spanish Paralympic Cycling Cup with great news for the Idemticos ambassador Alejandro Montero. The rider from Madrid, who started in A Laracha as the leader of the Cup in the MC3 category, won the final overall in the fourth and last race of the tournament with a victory in his category. Montero took 1h 16″13″ in a race held on a demanding 5.6 kilometre circuit.

Montero: “The Spanish Cup came to an end and in sporting terms, I was very happy with the sensations, as I was running without any pressure and it was perhaps the best race of the year. Moreover, participating with good friends. I would like to dedicate this victory and that of the overall final of the Spanish Cup to all of you who in one way or another are always there, transmitting me your energy and encouragement. And especially to my uncle Antonio Cabezas, wherever he is, because I never lacked a word of encouragement from him”.
