Navali donates 1,000 euros to the Alberto Contador Foundation and launches its ‘Campaign 1.5 meters’
Not everything is bicycles within the Alberto Contador Foundation. Or at least not directly, because they can be a communication tool. The awareness of Stroke, what it consists of and how it can be prevented, is one of the activities in which the Foundation is also involved day after day. One of the technical sponsors of the sports structures, a firm collaborator since the gestation of the first sports structures, Navali, also wanted to add the generous donation of 1,000 euros that will be used for research into this disease.
José Lastra, alma mater of Navali Factory Bike and the distributor Comet gave Alberto Contador himself the cheque last February in a photograph that was the prologue to the launch of the “Campaign 1.5 meters”, which combines awareness for safety and solidarity with research. With this initiative, which is launched during the month of May, comes on sale a range of socks solidarity of which a percentage of all the proceeds generated will go to research against Stroke.
Among all the customers who purchase these socks, whose sale price is 7 euros, there will be a draw for a complete set of Navali products and a cycling jersey from the Kometa Cycling Team of the Gobik brand signed by Alberto Contador. The draw will take place on 31 July and in order to participate it is necessary to buy the socks of the campaign, keep the purchase ticket (as it will be the proof of the same for the draw) and register in the space created ad hoc on the Navali website.
“For us it is a source of pride to have the opportunity to collaborate with the Alberto Contador Foundation with this initiative. It is our grain of sand in the fight against this disease. With the support of the collaborating establishments, our commitment to research into stroke increases”, explains Lastra.
