Ten bicycles for the Baza’s Casa Hogar and Day Centre

The Bicis para la Vida by ŠKODA Project promoted by the Contador Foundation, the Czech automobile company ŠKODA and the Seur Foundation closed its tour of Andalusia at the beginning of February with the donation of ten bicycles for the Casa Hogar and Day Centre in the Granada town of Baza.

This centre belongs to, and is managed by, the Andalusian Public Foundation for the Social Integration of People with Mental Illness (FAISEM) and with this donation of equipment, revised and fine-tuned by members of the AMP over the past week, they will be able to continue to develop their work projects with their residents and members.

Through physical exercise they stimulate the development of basic and instrumental skills for day-to-day life, they educate in effective habits for self-care and healthy living, they reinforce coping and self-control skills and, of course, they facilitate and support the development of skills for social relations.
