The Contador Foundation, present at the 2024 edition of Festibike to collect donations for Bicis para la Vida by Škoda

Festibike, the most classic meeting of the bicycle sector on the national scene, returns this coming weekend with a change of venue and format. There will be two days, Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June, at a new location in the Madrid town of Villanueva del Pardillo. On Saturday, from 09:30 to 20:30; on Sunday, from 09:30 to 14:30.

The Contador Foundation will be present at the Fair. There they will collect donations of unused bicycles for their Bicis para la Vida by Škoda project and it will also be possible to receive information about other initiatives promoted by the institution, such as the Idemticos project, to promote cycling among people with functional diversity, or the EnBici project or the Plaza Éboli Cycling Academy.

In the great menu of this edition, exhibitions, routes, exhibitions, talks, tests, meetings, workshops and bikes, many bikes, of the most diverse typologies; from road to mountain bike through BMX, or gravel.

More than 40,000 visitors attended the 2023 edition, which took place at the Las Rozas exhibition centre. An edition in which Alberto Contador was already among the participants, as well as his bicycle brand AURUM Bikes. The firm will be present again in this edition and Alberto Contador will lead an exclusive Social Ride on Sunday morning for 25 people, the AURUM Social Ride High Speed.

If you have a bike that you don’t use and you don’t know what to do with it, you can hand it in to the Foundation’s van that will be present at the Fair!
