The Diversity Day of the Santo Domingo de Silos School has in its last edition with the projects of the Fundación Contador
Santo Domingo de Silos School in the Madrid town of Pinto celebrated its Diversity Day on Thursday 13 June and among the entities that participated in the activities, such as the AMP Association with a remarkable explanation of its ‘Cognitive Accessibility Program’, was also the Contador Foundation.
On this occasion, the institution wanted to focus its contribution on the reality of adapted cycling through an immersive proposal in the use of the type of bicycles used in its practice. The stimulation of ‘another way of looking’, in short. To this end, the Idemticos project brought a handbike, a tandem and a tricycle to the students of the centre, which were complemented with conventional bicycles.
The development of this new training action gives continuity to the collaboration initiated with this school in the context of the last edition of its Sustainability Day promoted by the AMPA to raise funds for the Aladina Foundation, a day in which the Plaza Éboli Cycling Academy and the Bicis para la Vida by Škoda project played a more prominent role.
