Training camp times

It’s training camp time for the EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team ProTeam and its counterparts in the U23 and U19 categories. The cycling structures promoted by the Fundación Contador in its commitment to competitive cycling and the promotion of the youth cycling, have concreted or have concreted these days their first pre-season training camp with a view to the next competitive course. From 1 January, the official name of all the teams will be Team Polti-Kometa.

Both the professional formation and the U23 team are working in the unbeatable facilities of Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort, with the geography of the regions of La Safor and Marina Alta as the setting for their training sessions. Quiet routes, in an area with a very mild climate in autumn and winter, and which year after year concentrate both in December and January the work concentrations of most of the professional teams, both male and female. The junior team, for its part, has concentrated in the Madrid town of Pinto with the Sercotel Princesa Éboli hotel and the facilities of the Plaza Éboli Cycling Academy as a base of operations and scheduled cycling trips along the routes in the southeast of Madrid where Alberto Contador has prepared many of his sporting objectives during his professional career.
