Gonzalo García Abella and Alejandro Montero take part in the Extremadura European Paracycling Cup

The sixth edition of the Extremadura European Paracycling Cup hosted again in Casar de Cáceres and Cáceres a large representation of continental adapted cycling among which were the Idemticos ambassadors Gonzalo García Abella from Madrid, competing with the Spanish national team, and Alejandro Montero Campanero.

García took first place both in the road race on Saturday, in Casar de Cáceres, and on Sunday in the time trial, in Cáceres. For Montero, on the other hand, a double fourth position.

“I wanted to test my form with a view to the next objectives and the truth is that I left Extremadura with a very good feeling. And it’s a good thing I was able to avoid the rain on Saturday”, said García Abella.

“Saturday’s race, as always, was very beautiful and with a great atmosphere. The wind was very strong at times, a little less so on Sunday. Apart from the double chocolate medal, I’m happy with the feeling of the weekend. For the moment, there’s no more to come,” said Montero.
