Bicis para la Vida by ŠKODA delivers 40 bicycles to two of the VCF Foundation’s Escoles Cor Blanquinegre schools
The Bicis para la Vida by ŠKODA project of the Fundación Contador has travelled to Valencia for two beautiful days that have had their climax in the delivery of forty bicycles between two schools in the province.
The Colegio Madre Petra de El Vedat, in Torrent, and the CEIP Nuestra Señora del Amparo, in Real de Gandía, each received twenty bikes that have been tuned by the AMP boys.

These two deliveries are the first to materialise following the agreement reached by the VCF Foundation and the Fundación Alberto Contador with the collaboration of the Czech automobile firm ŠKODA”. The three entities will now work together to develop joint activities focused on promoting the use of bicycles and cycling in general.
The agreement was officially presented on Tuesday on the pitch of the Mestalla stadium, one of the temples of football in Europe, by two boys from the Escoles Cor Blanquinegre; by Teo Swee Wei, general director of the VCF Foundation and right-hand man of the club’s owner Peter Lim; and by Paco Romero, head of Bikes for Life by ŠKODA within the Foundation.
“We are very happy to collaborate with the Fundación Alberto Contador in the Bicis para la Vida project. With this donation of bikes to the pupils of Escoles Con Blanquinegre, we not only give the bikes a second life, but also improve the lives of the children. For me it is an example of how different NGOs can collaborate and work together for the benefit of society,” says Swee Wei.
“From the Fundación Contador and thanks to our relationship with ŠKODA, we are proud to be able to collaborate with the VCF Foundation, an entity with a high commitment to support the most disadvantaged groups. I am convinced that both foundations share the same values and professionalism, and that this will be a long-lasting relationship”, concludes Romero.
