Cantabria for the Sahara and its commitment to #BikesforAThirdLife

In July 2019, the NGO ‘Cantabria por el Sahara’ received a donation of fifteen bicycles from the Bicis para la Vida by ŠKODA project, which they used for their summer projects and initiatives within the framework of the ‘Vacaciones en Paz’ programme, where Saharawi children between the ages of eight and twelve stayed for two months in the youth hostel run by the association in the Talledo de Ontón neighbourhood, near Castro Urdiales (Cantabria).

Once they finished their projects, the NGO has not hesitated to get in touch with the project again to offer the bicycles again and, once they have been tuned up again by the friends of the AMP Pinto, they can be used for new social projects. A commitment, in short, to #BikesWithAThirdLife that we want to acknowledge and thank from the Contador Foundation and its project Bicis para la Vida by ŠKODA.
