Eleven events in the Madrid Cycling Federation’s Cycling Academies Calendar

Between April and October, eleven events make up the new Cycling Academy season as far as road races are concerned. On Saturday 15 April, the town of Meco opens a cycle of races that will continue until the first weekend of October with a new edition of the Fundación Contador Cycling Academies Race.

The calendar lacks the classic events of recent years, such as those organised in Villa del Prado, Ciempozuelos and Villarejo de Salvanés. It is possible that the federative calendar could be increased.

Álvaro García, head of the Plaza Éboli Cycling Academy: “We are not a school with a competitive vocation, as we always say, but all the girls and boys who want to take part in any of the events on the calendar will always have our company and support. In the end, the children’s school and family life always have an impact on this aspect, but in recent years we have seen a lot of interest in the road calendar”.

18th June: Parla.
25th June: Villalbilla.
