Fernando Tercero and his perseverance in his studies, protagonists in ‘La Tribuna de Ciudad Real’
Fernando Tercero, cyclist who this season has made the jump to the EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team ProTeam after four years in the U19 and U23 structures after his passage by the Club Ciclista Valdepeñas, has been protagonist this Tuesday of an interesting article in the pages of ‘La Tribuna de Ciudad Real’ in which he approaches the evolution of his sports career at the time that he has continued combining his studies.
Tercero is in his fourth year at the School of Agricultural Engineering at the University of Castilla-La Mancha. “It’s not easy, but if you like it and plan well, you can do it. The key is to take it without pressure,” Fernando tells journalist Eduardo Gómez. “In the end, an athlete’s career is short. Tomorrow you can fall or have a bad injury and you always have to have a plan B”, he added.
The importance of studies is a point that is emphasised in all the teams of the Contador Foundation, something that is present in all the presentation talks given by Alberto Contador and Fran Contador in the first training camps of each year.
