Jhonatan Restrepo gives Team Polti Kometa an unforgettable win in Rwanda

Fourth victory for a Team Polti Kometa rider in this season 2024. Colombian Jhonatan Restrepo confirmed his good form and his love affair with the Tour of Rwanda, a race in which he had previously won six partial victories, with his victory in the third stage of the current edition.

In the finish of Rusizi ‘Pácora’ Restrepo achieved his second victory of the season (after the final stage of the Tour Colombia 2.1., race in which he competed with the national team of his country) and his particular idyll with the African race. In 2020, he won four stages; in 2021 and 2022, one. Every time he has competed in Rwanda, he has won at least one stage.

This edition of the Tour of Rwanda is very special for the ProTeam structure of the Contador Foundation, as it is the team’s first race on the African continent.
