Moma Bikes donates 86 bicycles to Bicis para la Vida by ŠKODA

A big thank you to Moma Bikes. The Barcelona-based bicycle brand, one of the leading firms in the European online sales market, wanted to collaborate with the Bicis para la Vida by ŠKODA project of the Contador Foundation with a very generous donation of 86 of its bicycles.

Ángel López, the project’s logistics manager, went to the Moma Bikes facilities to collect the bikes. A good part of them will be delivered in the coming months in Morocco in the framework of a trip that is already in the bustling process of organisation.

Moma Bikes began its activity in 2003 in Barcelona, where the entire design process is carried out before production takes place in Spain, and has a wide range of urban, folding, electric and mountain bikes. Every year it produces more than 50,000 bicycles.

Paco Romero, from the social area of the Foundation: “In the third sector it is crucial to create alliances between entities in order to generate a favourable environment and ecosystem with which to carry out our missions effectively and efficiently, as well as to increase their impact. On this occasion our travelling companion has been Moma, who after many conversations have believed in our project and have wanted to show solidarity and support us by donating all these bikes that will be received by the most vulnerable groups. We have to thank the friends of Moma for such a generous contribution to Bicis Para la Vida”.
