The Contador Foundation participates in the opening of the ‘Scientific conference: on the occurence of the Grand Depart of Le Tour’

The breathtaking Salone dei Cinquecento of the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence was the incomparable setting for the opening this Friday of the cycle ‘Scientific conference: on the occurence of the Grand Depart of Le Tour’, an initiative organized by the prestigious Nico Congressi in the framework of the Grande Partenza that the Tour de France will face next June 29 from the historic city of Fiorentina to face three and a half days in Italian territory.

Francisco Javier Contador, manager of the sports structures Team Polti-Kometa and one of the managers of the Alberto Contador Foundation, represented both and was the protagonist in a talk on Sport, Sustainability and Health. Within this theme, Contador had the opportunity to talk about the different projects developed by this institution, such as the Plaza Éboli Cycling Academy, the Idemticos project or Bicis para la Vida, which is supported by one of the major sponsors of the French round, the Czech car brand Škoda.
