The educational and mobility projects of CEIP María de Mar de Camarena receive twenty-two bikes and equipment from Bicis para la Vida by Škoda

The Bicis para la Vida by Škoda project of the Contador Foundation travelled to Toledo on Monday to make a donation of material to the Maria del Mar Infant and Primary School at Camarena.

The ‘Aula Ciclista’ and ‘BiciBús’ initiatives promoted by this school, educational projects that use bicycles to promote the acquisition of knowledge and the assumption of habits in terms of mobility and sustainability, received twenty-two bicycles, a consignment of helmets and water bottles, inflators and several sets of pedals.

Of the twenty bicycles delivered, ten are in perfect condition to be used within the ‘BiciBús’ for those students who do not have sufficient family resources to have a bicycle to participate. This action promotes sustainable sustainability from home to school and encourages healthy cycling.

The Aula Ciclista del CEIP María del Mar, for its part, receives twelve partially dismantled bikes, bikes that were originally not in good condition, but which have been used to obtain parts and spare parts for other cycles and now, in turn, will be able to receive a second life as a means of training and for learning bicycle mechanics.
