The Team Polti Kometa project is presented in Milan

The Team Polti Kometa cycling team has been presented to the public and is looking forward to the 2024 season. The structure was officially presented on Wednesday 10 January at a press conference held in Milan. The professional structure of the Contador Foundation will carry from this year onwards the name of Polti, leader in small steam appliances for ironing, domestic and professional cleaning, and Kometa, an agri-food company specialising in the processing and transformation of pork and poultry meat, sponsor of the Foundation since 2017.

Fran Contador, general manager of the team, stands out for the identity of the squad provided by up to eight riders. “The work that began in 2013 in the lower categories is bearing the expected fruits. There are already eight young riders who have grown up with us over the years who are now part of our professional team”.
