Success of the talk #HablemosDelIctus promoted in Zaragoza by ‘La Mafia se sienta a la mesa’ and the Fundacion Contador
More than a hundred people gathered this Monday in the Assembly Hall of the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce to attend the #Let’sTalkAboutIctus conference organised by the Aragonese restaurant chain ‘La Mafia se sienta a la mesa’ and the Alberto Contador Foundation.
Dr Jaime Masjuán, neurologist at the Ramón y Caja Hospital in Madrid, Dr Carlos Tejero, neurologist at the Hospital Clínico in Zaragoza, neuroscientist Sara Dobarro and Ruth Adiego, social worker at the Ictus Association of Aragon (AIDA), took part in an event that provided more information about this disease and raised awareness of its enormous social and health impact.
At the end of the event, Francisco Javier Contador received from Javier Floristán, CEO of ‘La Mafia’, a cheque for 6,000 euros, the money raised from the solidarity pizza that was on sale for a period of time in the restaurant chain.
