Christian Silva and José Manuel Dosdad give Idemticos presence in the #CEPistaGalapagar24 with a great performance

Christian Silva (MC5), from Galicia, based in Madrid, with the Madrid Cycling Federation team, and José Manuel Dosdad (MC4), from Barcelona, based in Granada, with the Andalusian team, were the two Idemticos ambassadors present at the Spanish Track Cycling Championships held this weekend at the Galapagar velodrome.

“They have been the nationals of my life, I only missed the gold medal. But the truth is that they have been very good, I have been very consistent”, says Silva, who managed to get on the podium in several events: he won bronze in the Individual Pursuit, took silver in the Team Pursuit and finished third overall in the Omnium after taking silver in the 200m, third in the Kilometre and third in the Scratch.

“For me it is a real dream to share a podium with the current Olympic champion in the kilometre, with the two best riders on the current scene such as Alfonso Cabello and Pablo Jaramillo. Right now I’m physically exhausted, but it’s been an unforgettable weekend”.

Patuky’ Dosdad, for his part, has come close to the podium in several events, such as the Individual Pursuit, the Scratch and the Omnium, finishing fourth in the final classification in all of them. “Every year that goes by I like the discipline of track cycling more and more. Although this year I have not been able to get any medal, I leave Galapagar with a very good taste in my mouth. There are several reasons for this. Firstly, for being able to continue enjoying this wonderful sport, for which I am very grateful. Then, secondly, for the confidence of the Andalusian national team for another year. Thirdly, to continue to see me in the fight for the top places. I’ve felt very good and I’m very happy to be fighting with the top riders”, he said.
