Strade Biache Inside: a unique and captivating experience

The EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team, the professional cycling structure promoted by the Alberto Contador Foundation, was one of the teams participating in the latest edition of the Italian Strade Biache. The race has the great particularity that it includes several sections of unpaved roads, on sterrato. Being a relatively young race, having held its first edition in 2007, the Strade Bianche has managed to amass a great popularity to the point of popularising and exporting the term “sterrato” and the proposal model. In the 2023 edition the British Tom Pidcock (Ineos) and the Dutch Demi Vollering (Team SD Worx).
