Bicis para la Vida by ŠKODA receives thirty bicycles from the spanish National Police Corps

he Bikes for Life by SKODA project of the Contador Foundation has travelled this Monday to the National Police facilities in the Madrid neighbourhood of Vallecas to collect thirty bicycles that remained in police facilities. The boys of the AMP of Pinto are already working on the preparation of the bikes, the vast majority of which were in a more than acceptable state of conservation.

The bicycles come from past actions of the state security forces, after which they have remained in custody for some time waiting for their return or claim.

Once the deadline expired and nobody claimed them, the police authorities have seen fit to hand them over to the Alberto Contador Foundation project so that they can be given a second life through social projects.

“Most of the bicycles are in perfect condition, they were stored indoors in excellent conditions. The agents have been very kind to us and some even told us that they really liked the Bikes for Life project and that they had seen a report on television a few days ago. From the project and from the Foundation we thank them”, says Ángel López, logistics manager of Bicis para la Vida.
