Cycling in all its splendour on the most inclusive Gran Vía

With the presence of up to 15,000 spectators in the central circuit of the Gran Vía in Madrid, a sensational morning of cycling was held this Sunday with the second edition of the Madrid Criterium, which also served to put the regional Paralympic cycling titles at stake. A large representation of ambassadors of the Foundation’s Idemticos project was present, with titles in their respective categories for Eva Moral (WH4), Gonzalo García Abella (MT1), Álex Montero (MC3), Carlos Javier Mozos (MC1) and Christian Silva (MC5). The Madrid Criterium was attended by some members of the Plaza Éboli Cycling Academy, who took part in the relay race for the Madrid schools, as well as Alberto Contador himself, who took part in various events together with the great Dutch star and current world road race champion Mathieu Van der Poel, the final winner of the competition.
