Alberto Contador, at the XX edition of the Road Safety Journalism Award Fundación Línea Directa

The Road Safety Journalism Award ceremony promoted by the Línea Directa Foundation was held this Tuesday at the Gran Teatro Príncipe Pío in Madrid and one of those present at the ceremony was Alberto Contador.

The cyclist from Pinto, guest of honour at the gala, participated as an epilogue to share with all those present his life and sporting career, with special emphasis on overcoming the stroke that at times endangered not only his sporting career, but his own life.

The Línea Directa Foundation’s Road Safety Journalism Award is an award that recognises the work of journalists who, through their journalistic work, contribute to promoting road safety on the roads of Spain. With more than 2,000 nominations submitted in its three categories (written press and online media, Radio and Television), this edition once again consolidates the award as a benchmark in the Spanish journalistic field.
