Great performances by the ambassadors of the Idemticos project at the Spanish Track Cycling Championships 2023

José Manuel Dosdad, with the Andalusian national team, and Carlos Javier Mozos and Christian Silva, with the Madrid national team, were the three ambassadors of the Idemticos project promoted by the Contador Foundation who took part in the Spanish Track Cycling Championships 2023 held in the Luis Puig velodrome in the city of Valencia.

A historic and special edition of the National Championships, as both the Elite – U23 and Paralympic competitions were held together for the first time, with the firm objective, according to the Spanish Federation, “to continue advancing towards a more inclusive sport”. And in a special event, special results. Dosdad, Mozos and Silva left the Turia capital with a nice collection of medals as a result of their great performance throughout the weekend.

Mozos won four bronze medals in these Championships in his category, MC1: Pursuit, Kilometre, Scratch and the Omnium. Three medals were won by Dosdad from Barcelona, also bronze, in his MC4 category: Pursuit, Scratch, Omnium. In MC5, the Galician resident in Torrejón de Ardoz Silva won the bronze medals in Team Sprint, Scratch and Omnium.
