Three bronze medals for Carlos Javier Mozos at the Spanish Track Championships

Spanish Track Championships for Adapted Cycling
Galapagar (Madrid), March 6th and 7th

The Spanish Adapted Track Cycling Championships held this weekend at the Galapagar velodrome concluded with three bronze medals for Carlos Javier Mozos.

The Idemticos ambassador resident in Getafe, who was called up by the Madrid Regional team for this competition, finished third in the MC1 category in the Kilometre, Scratch and Omnium events. A category with a very high level of competition, not in vain in it compete the Valencian Ricardo Ten and the Catalan Juan José Méndez.

On Saturday, on the first day of the competition, Mozos could not fight for a good result in the Individual Pursuit after he was disqualified as a consequence of a null at the start.

“This Spanish Championships has not turned out as I expected. The failure on the first day penalised me. There are days when nothing goes as planned and that null start in the pursuit event left me out of the competition. I had to learn and go for it the next day. But I’m still happy to be part of the great family that is the Federación Madrileña de Ciclismo, with all the teammates who contribute so much”, explains Carlos.
